Why Is Satan Finding Himself So Comfortable In The Christian Community?

Why is Satan finding himself so comfortable landing in the Christian Community? Satan is also a fisherman of men. Lately he has gotten comfortable where he cast his nets, because many of us have become spiritually dead and has gone to sleep on God. He doesn’t desire the sinner, he has them, and his desire is to make Christians useless. He come to Kill, steal and destroy and he is doing well here, he doesn’t want to kill off everyone, just know that we bring one or two to Christ to receive salvation and deliverance, Satan plan is to take 3 or 4 out by whatever means necessary. So he is frequenting Christian marriages and the homes, children, the church is accepting any and everything to conform to the world, going against God’s word in trying to justify a sin and Satan is now comfortable in the church because as long as he can keep us useless, he has done his job, because as long as we are sleeping on God we become useless and we have no idea of our purpose any longer, he is playing in our minds because an idle man is a devils workshop. He disrupts the homes, keep confusing going in marriages and confusion in the church, so he kills a few, steals a few and destroy a few, completing his mission because we have become sluggish and lax.

We won't take time to give God more than 4 hours a week and that is not for everyone but for many. Let's see, 1 hour for church on Sunday's for those who attend, 1 hour for Bible study and 1 hour for prayer meeting and maybe those who do a daily Bible reading another hour. So just for the benefit of the doubt, let's throw in another 2 hours, so if we give God 6 hours a week, are we growing spiritually close to Him, will this help us to fight off the enemy, you see Satan never rest, sin never sleeps. Satan knows the Bible too, but he distorts the trust, he is a deceiver, but he is also well aware that many Christians do not know the Word of God, so we can't fight him off.  We have disharmony in the family unity because  we don't stay in the  Word of God, our spiritual life is struggling and suffering. We are angry at every other religious group because they are on their JOB. They are out recruiting, knocking on doors, sharing their beliefs with people they meet and what are we doing, afraid of who we will offend if we talk about God, just will speak to our neighbor after leaving church. We don't want to go outside the walls, we don't want to work in our own mission field which is our backyard, we meet people daily but we are afraid to share the Word of God, yet we are angry at these other groups because they are targeting their followers and getting outside the walls of their meeting places.

EVICT SATAN: The devil will not leave you voluntarily—you must evict him from your life! It will be necessary that you tenaciously voice your rights as a child of God, enforce God’s Word against him, and use your faith and the authority Jesus has given you to cast the devil out.

If you want to be spiritually fed, go to church with a hunger for the Word.  Sometimes even church attendance can become a matter of merely going through the motions on just another Sunday:  What can we do to make each Sunday special?  Go with the anticipation of meeting God.  Go to learn about God.  Expect to hear from Him.  Go to fellowship with others.  We need each other in this Christian journey. Lord, give us a renewed enthusiasm of heart for attending church, so that it won't be just another Sunday.

Take the time to recharge yourself!  Sleeping on God is letting your blessings pass you by!  Today we live in critical times. There are too many ways in which you can be distracted or fall asleep spiritually. Bible prophecies are being fulfilled.  We, too, must not fall asleep spiritually, become lulled into complacency or let down our guard. Remember the hour in which we live. Satan is always on the prowl, if Satan has the chance he will creep into any crevice to distract you, don't go to sleep on God.

The Spiritually Dead Church

The Bible does speak about a spiritually dead church and we must presume that this dead church is full of dry bones or spiritually dead members.  They might confess their sins, they might profess their faith but the question is do they possess this faith?  Anyone can confess, anyone can profess, but it is an altogether different thing to possess something.  In the message to the Seven Churches in the Book of Revelation, it is Jesus Himself that speaks to them.  In Revelation 3:14-20 it says:

To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation.  I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!  So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.  You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.  I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.  Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”

Is the 20th and 21st Century church that Jesus is speaking about?  This church is neither hot nor cold.  If they were hot, we must assume that this means that they are seeking to please God and their deeds would prove it.  We could understand that a Christian that is on-fire for Christ would be reading their Bible, prayer often, give generously, and be striving to seek a holy life.  On the other hand, a cold Christian would be one that is callous to those in need around them, rarely pick up a Bible, pray only when they are in a crisis, and from the viewpoint of the world, look no different from the unbelievers around them.  Christ would rather have a Christian like this or one that is on fire instead of one that is a mixture of both.   Being a mixture of both is living a Christian life of duplicity, of hypocrisy, and is anything but authentic.  They are playing church so to speak.  The original language for “spit you out” could be better rendered as “vomit you out.”  As gross as this sound, this lukewarm church appears to make Jesus sick to His stomach.  It’s like taking a drink of cool coffee or warm pop.  It does not leave a good taste in the mouth and is instead, rather disgusting.

Examine Yourself

To see if you are truly spiritually alive or spiritually dead, take Paul’s advice in 1 Corinthians 11:27-32:  “So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.  Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup.  For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves.  That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep.  But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment.  Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.” If we don’t examine ourselves before we partake in the Body of Christ (the Lord‘s Supper or Communion), we can “eat and drink judgment” to ourselves.  That is why Paul was warning the church at Corinth that “many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep [meaning they have died!].  What can a spiritually dead person do?  “If we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment.” Paul’s imperative command, not a hope-you-will-do-this saying, is that we examine ourselves, abide in the Vine (Jesus Christ and His Word, the Bible),  bear much fruit, and then and only then, can we “ask whatever [we] wish, and it will be done for [us].  That is to say our prayers will be answered.  And what better evidence is there that we are spiritually alive than God answering our prayers.

Our needs will never exhaust God's supply!  We are all the same; there are no unimportant people in the body of Christ. Our greatest hope here below is to get help from God above.  When God gives an assignment; He equips us and it comes with His enablement. The storm that threatens to destroy us God will use to strengthen us.  Every season needs faith to get us through it, therefore, apply yourself to the scriptures and the scriptures to yourself.

Has this ever happened to you, every so often, your computer becomes sluggish? Like our computer our life gets fragmented. One situation tugs on our emotions while trying to concentrate on something else. We want to accomplish everything that needs to be done, but our mind won't stop and our body won't start. Sometimes we are scattered, restless and half here. King David also went through such times. (Ps. 55-2).  I often defragment my computer; it needs it every now and then. Then I had a thought: Prayer can help to defragment our lives. When we cast our cares on the Lord, He will show us what we need to do and what only He can do.  Many of us need some defragmentation going on right now. Do like David, present your needs and concerns to Him in prayer and have confident that you will be heard (v.17)  We need prayer the most when we have the least time to pray. Take time to defragment your life today. Shut everything down and go to God in prayer.
We live in a world filled with people who, like sheep, are lost, confused, hungry, lonely, and in desperate need of a Savior.

Only Jesus, the Living Water, can satisfy the thirsty soul.  When a Christian stops growing, help is needed.  If you are the same Christian you were a few months ago, be careful.  You might be wise to get a checkup.  Not on your body, but on your heart.  Not a physical, but a spiritual.  Make these four habits regular activities and see what happens: First, the habit of prayer.  Second, the habit of study; Third, the habit of giving and Last of all, the habit of fellowship.  We exist to glorify God, all day every day!

If God is calling you, submit your life completely to Him and He will give you all you need to accomplish His mission and will. God will place the anointing upon you when He calls you to accomplish a certain task or mission. When God said He would use everything for the good of those He called, He already knew about your past, present, future and what you'd be facing today. You're not defeated until DOUBTS replaces Your MISSION.

People are desperately searching for meaning in their lives but they will not crack the Bible open. With Jesus...we don't have all the answers...we have the Truth.

A person or thing apart from its creator cannot know its purpose. You want to know the purpose of a product? - You must ask the manufacturer.  If you don't know where God is in your life, find Him by searching for God’s answer in reading the Word of God. THE Christian warriors do not select which hill they will defend. That decision belongs to God. The battle is real. It's time to stand on the promises of God, and stop sitting on the premises of God.  God is love. God will not look you over for medals, degrees, or diploma, but for scars. God calls us to join an army that will bring the Gospel into enemy territory. We battle Satan by staying strong in God.  We are defenseless otherwise. We need a faith - which offers an encounter with the world - and not an escape from the world.

Notice what we do while waiting on God. It can be an important observation to learn about ourselves.  When God says, "Arise; He means to get up and get going. We, the followers of Christ, are the only people who can bring about a World Wide movement for peace. It’s Time to be about our Father's business. If anybody is going to change this world; it will be us, Followers of Jesus Christ.

If You Never Understood the Meaning of God's Grace, It's Very Simple:  I Deserve Nothing, But God Gives Me Everything!   There is no comparison to having a good relationship with God.  Everyday do something that will lead you closer to God.  Where ever we are in life, we need to have a goal, a dream and a vision.  If we don't, the Word says we'll perish (Prov 29:18).   If you find that you are at the same level you were last year spiritually then you haven't grown any closer to God, sometime as Christians we get in a comfort zone.  Some people do the same thing day after day, year after year without growing in God's Grace or Word.  God never created us to reach one level and then stop.   When you stop learning you stop growing; allow God to take you to another dimension in His Word.  Keep growing.  Expect God to make a change in your spiritual life.  Don't settle for where you are, get more of Jesus.  Never let an earthly circumstance disable you spiritually.  Welcome the Holy Spirit. It's something about this year 2014.  God is doing a great thing.  Releasing, Changing, Positioning and Transitioning.   It's going to be a tremendous shake up because God's Word will forever stand.  Know where you are standing, make sure that it is firm and stable; drop anything that's weighing you down.  Don't hinder your blessing. God Is Moving.

Everyone I see matters to Jesus. Your workplace is the mission field; we all have a mission field in our own back yard.  Everywhere the gospel is preached there is life and growth. You’re never more like Jesus than when you are serving. We have to be the church, reach the unreached and touch the un-touched. Let's shake off the distractions and refocus our attention on the main game.  Let's get our attention on Jesus commission and on declaring His goodness to all.

Even though many are not called to fill an office within the five- fold ministry to the church, we all have a mission field in our own backyards. You’re never more like Jesus than when you are serving. We’re all called to serve. We don’t just go to church, we have to be the church, reach the unreached, touch the un-touched. Do you traverse beyond your doorstep? Then you are a missionary. Your workplace is the mission field. Never has a generation been able to record so much and forget so much all at the same time. Let's shake off the distractions and refocus our attention on the main game. Let's get our attention on Jesus commission and on declaring His goodness to all. Since the first disciples were commissioned, the task hasn't changed. What we're trying to achieve is the same.
